Sisters?

So I am due for a cute funny friend story. We have been pretty boring lately, so it was time to make one happen. Friday night I ventured down to the horrible city that is Tuscaloosa. Growing up an Auburn fan, I have learned to despise this town. Well no one in Birmingham planned to do much, and friends were going to visit a friend we have in the MBA program at Bama so off I took. We get to the bar The Houndstooth (voted best bar by SI- I don't think so). We are standing talking with friends when a guy my little sister goes to school with comes up and says "Molly!" I am oblivious to that he is talking to me, so after a while The Educator informs me that she thinks he is trying to get my attention. I quickly tell him that I am not Molly, but her older sister and he says "No way. She told me she had a twin, but I thought she said you went to Auburn." Keep in mind this guy has had a few, so after arguing with him for a few minutes that Molly and I were not twins I just gave up. This is when The Educator decides to jump in and announce to the guy that yes Molly and I are twins and she is our older sister! I about lost it! The guys eyes get huge and he goes "Da** you have a fine a** family!" I lost it. Completely. I have never laughed so hard. I really hope this guy kept on partying and does not think we are all sisters!! I pretty much think of Carolyn as my sister and Molly obviously is my blood, but twins really?

"Shews"

I got a phone call today from my aunt saying Anna Cruce must really be my daughter is disguise. The child already has an obsession with tutu's, dancing, anything sequin or flashy, and most important, SHOES! Yes I was (and still am) obsessed with all these as a kid. Little A.C. will run up to you like she has not seen you in years, huge smile on her face and immediately point to your feet and touch your shoes yelling "shews! shews!" It is the cutest thing I have ever seen! If you dare take them off in her presence be prepared for her to shove them in your face until you put them back on your feet!

Today my mom and aunt were browsing a children's store in Homewood today and A.C. spotted some red sequin ballet flats and proceeded to carry them around the store the entire time. She also picked up the pink sequined pair and refused to let you take them out of her hand. I talked to her during the trip and all she would say was "shews! shews!" They said she was showing them to the phone for me to look at. Normally they end up buying whatever she has in her hand, but they were $80 a pair!! Needless to say she pitched a royal fit and taken outside for a cookie. Ahhh the life!!

I love this kid. I want one just like her (not anytime soon). Since she has been playing with my shoes so much I just so have noticed that it is wayyyy past time for me to invest in some LBB aka little black boots! I have been putting them off and my square-skuffed up pair are not going to kick it anymore. So I have found these options. My mom would hate all 3. I have not tried any on yet, but what do you think?
Basic?

Country flair with the buckle?

Skip the boot and go for the patent look?

All three of these are from Nine West and hopefully will pop up at the local Belk's when I leave here! I just may or may not have opened a credit card there in order to get my 40 percent discount?

On a sad note, most of my post will have to be able A.C. until we have excitement that can be posted. My cute blog motivator Gus suddenly passed away two weeks ago. I am just now getting to the point that I want to write about it, but I am still shocked. Also, my team has done nothing to prove to me that I should support them with my amazing tailgates, but I will at least have to post about our two awesome outings.I am going to West Virginia next week, so hopefully I will come back with a camera full of mullets and mountain mama's! Bye for now!

How to Satisfy the Queen!

Take her to Sam's and let her laugh and charm all the customers and associates.

Find the toy aisle and pretend she owns all the teddy bears by tossing her inside the box over and over and over...

Clap everytime you throw her in the bears! The simple things are the most exciting!

Give her a lollipop and teach her to make the "pop" sound when she pulls it out of her mouth!

Goodness I love this little girl! She said "B" for the first time last week! Smart child!

P.S. I am sooooo procrastinating studying for my midterm...Grad school... what??

Christmas 2K8

I just got the go ahead from my mother to start making my list for Santa Claus this year. Yes all 4 of us children are now officially in their 20's and my mother still insists on doing Santa Claus. I do not complain because it is one of our family Christmas traditions that I absolutely adore. Molly and I have always slept in the same bed Christmas Eve (Andy use to join us, but has gotten to old and my dad booted him from the room. Ryan got to help play Santa). We started this tradition as a ploy for "Santa" to come and me keep the little ones from peeking too early. Anyways, one of us would wake the others up and we would all creep and look at our presents and then would try and fall back asleep until daylight. Sadly now that we are all older, it takes my mom beating us out of bed an hour before family comes to open our presents and put them away. We also keep the television on the 24 hour marathon of A Christmas Story. I will be so sad when TBS decides to stop running that on Christmas. I act like I have NEVER seen it and watch it compulsively.
With all that being said, my mom called me today to inform me that I needed to start my Christmas list. She wants to get to buying early (I will be shocked if that happens). My problem you ask???? What are all the 999,999,999 things that I have randomly thought of as "great gifts for Brooke" throughout the past year? Now that it is game time for my list they have all deserted me. I know I need clothes. Duh. But what else?? Give me ideas people! What are the hot items for 2008?
